FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (UNLVRebels.com)-Â The UNLV men's and women's diving teams will be represented by 3 divers at the 2019 NCAA Diving Zone E meet. Freshman Monste Moreno will be representing the Rebel women, while sophomore
Jesse Cawley and freshman
Tazman Abramowicz will compete for the Rebel men. This year's competition will run Monday-Wednesday, March 11-13 on the campus of Northern Arizona in the Douglas J. Wall Aquatic Center in Flagstaff.
The women will begin prelims at 11:30 am (MST) Monday and Tuesday, with finals starting at 3:10 pm (MST). Men will start prelims at 11:30 am (MST) and finals at 1:10 pm (MST). On Wednesday, women will have prelims at 11:00 am (MST) and finals at 1:30 pm (MST), men will have prelims at 3:45 pm (MST) and finals 5:25 pm (MST).
Monday: Women 1-meter. Men 3-meter.
Tuesday: Women 3-meter. Men 1-meter.
Wednesday: Platform
"Montse, Taz, and Jesse are more than ready for this competition," says head coach Ben Loorz. "MW Diving is doing really well in the Western Zone right now, and we are really excited that all three Rebel divers have a legitimate shot to make the NCAA Championships."

Montse Moreno scored a 284.70 in the 1-meter placing seventh at the 2019 Mountain West Championships and earned a score of 361.20 placing fourth in the 3-meter. Moreno will compete in both events.
Jessey Cawley finished third in 3-meter with an overall score of 330.20 in the 2019 WAC Championships, earning him one event to compete in.
Tazman Abramowicz finished second in 1-meter with a score of 321.25 in the 2019 WAC Championships. He also grabbed two conference titles, one in 3-meter with a 365.40 and another on platform with a 315.95, earning him three events to compete in during the 2019 NCAA Zone E Championships.
