FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's and women's diving teams finished the final day of the 2019 NCAA Diving Zone E Championships, which took place at the Douglas J. Wall Aquatic Center on the campus of Northern Arizona.
THE RUNDOWN - MEN:
*Sophomore
Jesse Cawley finished seventh on platform with a final score of 622.25, missing sixth place by 2.5 points.
*Freshman
Tazman Abramowicz finished 17th, with an overall score of 516.40.
QUOTABLE-
"Today was a bit bitter sweet. Jesse did an outstanding job, the best he has done all year. Unfortunately, he missed the cut by less than three points.
It's pretty amazing knowing that all three divers had a shot to make NCAAs. The future is bright for these three athletes."
