LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's tennis team snapped a two-match losing skid with a 7-0 victory over UTSA on a beautiful Saturday morning at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
The Rebels improved to 10-6 overall and 8-2 at home while the Roadrunners of Conference USA dropped to 10-10 on the year.
 
The hosts took the doubles point by earning wins on courts two and three. Singles, however, was much more competitive as half the courts went three sets.
 
REBEL OF THE MATCH: Senior Jovana Kenic, playing in just her second match since October because of injuries, won her first dual of the season, 7-6, 6-1 over Charleen Tiwari on court five.
 
NET NOTES: Aiwen Zhu, ranked 98^th in the nation, improved to 23-6 as a senior with a super-tiebreaker win at the top of the lineup and sits all alone in sixth place at UNLV with 96 career singles victories … Senior Anna Bogoslavets rallied to down Mariah Mariah Plauth on court four, 3-6, 7-5, 7-5, to move into a tie with Veronica Goude (1997-2000) for 12^th place on the school's all-time list with 81 singles victories.
