Abramowicz Will Represent The Rebels At The 2019 NCAA Men's Swimming & Diving Championships

AUSTIN, Texas (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's diving team will be represented by freshman Tazman Arbamowicz at the 2019 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships. This year's competition, which begins Wednesday and runs through Saturday, will be held at the University of Texas' Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.
Abramowicz will compete in the1-meter on Thursday and the 3-meter Friday after he qualified for the NCAA Championships after a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships. He will be the first Rebel diver in over two decades to represent the Scarlet & Gray at the NCAA Championships. Prelims will begin at 9:00 a.m. (CDT), while finals will start at 5:00 p.m. (CDT).
"It's a great opportunity for Taz, as a freshman, to compete against some of the best divers in the world," said head coach Ben Loorz. "The Rebel Swim-Dive family is pumped to support him in Austin this week!"
"We are all really excited for Taz to compete this week in Austin," said head diving coach Landon Marzullo. "As a freshman, this a great opportunity for him to see what this meet is all about, but to also throw down against some of the best in the sport.
ESPN3.com will live stream the finals sessions all four nights. Preliminary sessions on Thursday through Saturday will be streamed live on www.texassports.com.
