First Drive For 5 Online Auction Benefitting Student-Athlete Wellness Announced

Five-week online auction to coincide with the Drive for 5 campaign to increase Rebel Athletic Fund memberships, while providing support for student-athlete nutrition, mental health and sports performance programs.

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - In recognition of National Student-Athlete Month, UNLV Athletics has announced it will conduct its first Drive for 5 online auction to support student-athlete wellness, including nutrition, mental health and sports performance. 

The online auction will run for five consecutive weeks and feature a total of 50-60 items. New items will be released every Tuesday at 5 p.m. beginning on April 16. 

Some of the items available for bidding are direct engagement opportunities with UNLV Athletics, showcasing its exceptional student-athletes, coaches, staff members and venues, while others have been graciously donated by community partners.

Fans will have the opportunity to bid on items such as trips with the teams, honorary coach experiences, VIP experiences, a fantasy basketball practice for 10, and many more. 

"We are always looking to enhance our student-athlete wellness program," said Director of Athletics Desiree Reed-Francois. "We appreciate all of the support we have received as we have expanded our nutrition, mental health and sports performance areas. This new initiative will give Rebel fans the opportunity to contribute in a different way, helping us to grow these important areas for our student-athletes."

As UNLV Athletics continues to Drive for 5 in Rebel Athletic Fund memberships, RAF members along with season ticket holders are invited to bid on these unique items and experiences.
