SAN JOSE, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's tennis team posted its fourth consecutive shutout victory, this time on the road, 4-0 at San Jose State Sunday afternoon at the Spartan Tennis Complex.
 
The Rebels improved to 13-6 overall and 4-0 vs. Mountain West competition this spring while the Spartans dropped to 7-7 and 0-2 in the league.
 
The visitors earned a 1-0 lead after taking the two completed doubles matches and then posted a trio of straight-set victories to clinch the overall win in dominating fashion.
 
REBEL OF THE MATCH: En-Pei Huang teamed with Aiwen Zhu to win 6-3 at the No. 1 doubles position and then swept Alb Pedrero Galindo 6-3, 6-3 on court three in singles play to improve to 22-8 overall
 
NET NOTES: Zhu and Huang, who are ranked 48^th in the nation in doubles, improved to 21-8 this season. Zhu ranks third all-time at the school with 86 doubles wins … Zhu was two points away from clinching her singles match when it was halted. The senior remains 25-6 overall and 12-2 in dual matches in 2019 … Senior Anna Bogoslavets whitewashed Savannah Sendar 6-0, 6-0 at the fourth singles position to improve her career record to 83-32. She ranks 12th in school history for victories and needs four more to enter UNLV's top 10.

NEXT FOR THE REBELS: UNLV will close out its regular-season schedule with a trip to play San Diego State on Saturday starting at noon. The winner of the meeting will earn the Mountain West's West Division Championship.
