LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV track & field's
Avi'Tal Wilson-Perteete has been named to the CoSIDA NCAA Division I Academic All-District 8 Team, the organization announced Tuesday. This is the first career CoSIDA honor for the sophomore from Oakland, California.
Currently, Wilson-Perteete ranks first in NCAA Division I in the 800m with a time of 2:02.41, and is destined for Austin, Texas, in two weeks (June 5-8) to compete at the NCAA Outdoor Championships. The 2017 Saint Mary's College High School graduate earned the trip next month to the Lone State State after winning her heat and finishing fourth overall in the 800m at this past weekend's NCAA West Preliminary in Sacramento, California.
Additionally, she claimed the indoor and outdoor titles in the 800m at the Mountain West Championships this year.
During her freshman campaign (2017-18), she was a two-time USTFCCCA Second Team All-American and a two-time medalist at the conference championships in the 800m, with a first-place finish at the MW Outdoors and second-place showing at the MW Indoors.
In the classroom, Wilson-Perteete owns a 3.94 cumulative GPA through her second year at UNLV. Moreover, she has garnered 2017-18 USTFCCCA All-Academic honors, and was named to the 2018 Spring Academic All-MW Team and was an MW Scholar-Athlete awardee. She was also a 2017 Fall Academic All-MW Team as a participant with the Rebel cross country team.
UNLV's district includes four-year institutions from the states of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington as well as Canada.

- Graham ranks 20th overall in the NCAA's in the 100m hurdles (13.07), and that time is the best in program's outdoor performance list.

Jaela Williams – ranks fourth overall in the NCAA's, right behind USC, Arkansas and North Carolina A&T.
