A record 480 institutions were named to the list, including UNLV's squad under head coach Ben Loorz that posted a team GPA of 3.37 during Spring 2019. The Rebels also were named to the Fall 2018 Scholar All-America team, part of a string of seven straight semesters the UNLV swimming and diving program has been honored.

CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart noted: "Coach Loorz has revitalized the program in and out of the pool."
