- UNLV has now played two teams that reside in the latest AVCA Top-25 Poll, with CSU sitting at No. 17 and the California Golden Bears – a week-two opponent – coming in at No. 21. The teams are a combined 23-2 on the year with the Rams' lone loss coming against Cal in the second match of the season.
- The match featured a total of 11 ties and only two lead changes, with both of the latter taking place in the third set. The first frame had six ties, while the third had four and the fourth one.

- Hayden upped her season total for aces to 10 and, subsequently, her career tally to 167. She needs only nine more to tie San Diego State's Robyn Gregg (2000-03) for first in the Mountain West record book with 176 apiece.
- Hayden moved into a tie for seventh place in career attack attempts alongside Bree Hammel (2013-16) with 2,636.
