LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) -  The UNLV women's swimming and diving team saw five individuals and four relays earn a spot on the Mountain West All-Conference team, the league announced Monday.

Junior Kate Afanasyeva was recognized for her third place finish in the 100 back, fourth place finish in the 50 free, and a seventh place finish in the 100 back.

Sophomore Carissa Armijo was honored for the 500 free and 200 fly, placing second and seventh, respectively. Sophomore Kacey Kiuchi was honored for her performances in the 100 and 200 back, placing sixth and second. Sophomore Kristina Schneider was also honored for two events, the 100 and 200 free where she finished fourth and fifth.

Freshman Diana Neagu was honored for her eighth place finish in the 1650 free.

The 200 medley relay team of Lindsay Swail, Skylar Moore, Kate Afanasyeva, and Caitlyn Schreiber earned a spot after finishing third.

The 800 free relay team consisting of Julia Filippova, Kristina Schneider, Filio Raftopoulou, and Carissa Armijo secured a spot after their third place finish.

The second place 400 medley relay team of Kacey Kiuchi, Skylar Moore, Kate Afanasyeva, and Kristina Schneider were honored for their performance.

The third place 200 free relay team consisting of Kristina Schneider, Kate Afanasyeva, Caitlyn Schreiber, and Eva Kim earned a spot on the All-Conference Mountain West team as well.
