LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV women's golf team will stay at home to wrap up its fall slate as the Rebels will compete in Northern Arizona's The Clash at Boulder Creek October 24-26 in Boulder City, Nevada. The three-day event begins Sunday at Boulder Creek Golf Club with one round played each day on the Par 72, 6,309-yard course. Sunday's opening round begins at noon, while Monday and Tuesday's play will begin at 8 a.m. each morning.
The Scarlet and Gray will hope to finish out a strong October that saw them win the 2021 Dale McNamara Invitational in Tulsa and finish under par in two straight tournaments for the first time since the spring of 2017. The feat is even more impressive considering the lineup features four newcomers, including three freshmen who are playing their first fall of collegiate golf. Freshman
Sydney Bryan led the way for Rebels as she earned her first collegiate victory in Tulsa as a co-medalist at 4-under, then finished at even in a tie for 26th at the Jim West Invitational in the last outing. If the Rebels can pull off the win at Boulder Creek it would be the first time in program history UNLV will have won two tournaments during the fall campaign.
