LOS ANGELES (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's and women's diving teams notched a pair of top-10 finishes on the opening day of the Trojan Diving Invitational hosted by USC at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
Leading the way for the Rebel men, freshman
Dima Tereshchenko reached the podium in the 3-meter competition after placing third with an overall score of 652.35. The Scarlet and Gray's newcomer posted a season-best score of 328.80 in the finals, which ranks fourth all-time at UNLV.
For UNLV's women's squad, sophomore
Vika Yanovska finished ninth on the 1-meter springboard with an overall score of 442.75 to finish among the top half of competitors.
