LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Justice Ethridge led six Lady Rebels in double-figure scoring as UNLV topped Cal State Los Angeles 106-45 in an exhibition contest at Cox Pavilion Wednesday night.

Ball State transfer Essence Booker scored 15 and Preseason All-Mountain West selection Desi-Rae Young added 14. Sophomore Keyana Wilfred and Youngstown State transfer Nneka Obiazor totaled 12 apiece.

Cal State LA was led by 16 points from Lily Buggs.

STATS OF THE GAME: UNLV shot 80 percent from the free-throw line, hitting 25 of 31 attempts. Cal State LA was 1-for-2 at the stripe.

LADY REBEL OF THE GAME: In addition to her double-double, Ethridge counted two steals and UNLV's lone block.

QUOTABLE: "I'm really pleased with how we played. I was mostly excited that we didn't let up. We played a full 40 minutes when it would have been easy not to. We have a lot of new people out there and, honestly, you don't always know what you're going to get from practice and going against one another each day. (The game) let us see a lot of things we like and some things to improve." — UNLV Head Coach Lindy La Rocque

NOTES:
* This was UNLV's only exhibition game of the season.
* UNLV (36-of-70) made twice as many field goals as Cal State LA (18-of-65) while taking just five more attempts.
* The Lady Rebels converted 20 offensive rebounds into 25 second-chance points.
* Predicted to finish third in the Mountain West this season in the preseason poll, the Lady Rebels return four student-athletes from last year's team, including two starters. The team also welcomes eight newcomers.
