Lady Rebels Ready For Two In Two Days In San Diego

UNLV has won three of its last four games coming into the series.

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV, owners of a five-game road win streak, looks to add to that with a pair of games at San Diego State Monday and Tuesday at Viejas Arena. This is a makeup of the series originally scheduled for Dec. 30 and Jan. 1, with the start times set for 1 pm on Monday and 3 pm on Tuesday.

There will be a live video stream available on the Mountain West Network and UNLVRebels.com, while the radio broadcast, featuring Wyatt Tomchek as play-by-play and Mark Wasik as color analyst can also be accessed at UNLVRebels.com.

UNLV Game Notes

♦ After splitting a pair of games with Boise State last week in Las Vegas, UNLV will finish the regular season with four straight road games, including back-to-back games this Monday and Tuesday at San Diego State. This is a makeup of the series originally scheduled for Dec. 30 and Jan. 1.
♦ Playing on the road is a place that the Lady Rebels have excelled this season, as they are a perfect 5-0 away from their home court. That includes a pair of MW road sweeps, at Utah State and Air Force. Their five-game road win streak is tied for the 14th-longest in the nation.
♦  The Lady Rebels are hoping to at least hold onto fourth place in the conference standings, as they enter the week with a 9-5 mark. One win would click a winning conference record in head coach Lindy La Rocque's first year at the helm, and give UNLV double-digit MW wins for the fourth time in the past five years.
♦  UNLV is one of the top teams in the nation at getting to the free throw line, as it ranks fifth in both total free throws made (313) and free throws attempted (443).
♦  UNLV is one of the youngest and most inexperienced teams in the nation. The 11-player Lady Rebels roster is the sixth-youngest team in the nation with an average age of 19.5, while they are the only team in the nation with at least 90% of its roster that started the season with just one career total Division I start.
