TOKYO (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV men's swimming and diving's
Vuk Celic made his Olympic debut for his native country of Serbia with a 33rd-place finish in the 800m free on day four of the 2020 Tokyo Games.
In his only scheduled event, the Rebels' distance standout turned in a season-best time of 8:04.85 in heat 2 of the 800m free prelims. The mark was a nearly five-second improvement upon his 800m free performance (8:09.65) at the 2021 European Championships back in May.
The Scarlet and Gray will continue to have representation on the big stage in the pool this week, as volunteer assistant coach
Kasia Wasick is set to swim for her homeland of Poland on Friday in the 50m free.

results page or via broadcast on USA Network for the preliminary heats and NBC for the finals. The on-air coverage for each day begins with prelims at 3 am, while the finals will hold the primetime slot at 6:30 pm.
