LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) –  The UNLV women's swimming and diving program was named to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) Scholar All-America team for the Fall 2021 semester, the national organization announced Tuesday. This marks the 11th time in the last 12 semesters that the Rebel women's program  – which posted a 3.25 GPA  – has earned Scholar recognition.

"Coach Loorz demonstrates that a team can be successful in the pool and the classroom," said CSCAA Executive Director Greg Earhart. "These 29 women are some of the best ambassadors that UNLV and the Mountain West could ask for."

The Fall Team Scholar All-America award is presented to college and university swimming and diving teams who have achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher in the semester/quarter coinciding with the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. UNLV was among the 450 institutions to be honored across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions.
