LOS ANGELES (UNLVRebels.com) – A trio of top-10 finishes highlighted the UNLV men's and women's diving teams' performances Saturday on day two of USC's Trojan Diving Invitational at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.
THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
*Junior
Vika Yanovska posted a combined prelims (172.80) and finals (196.70) score of 369.50 to finish eighth in the platform event.
THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
*On the 3-meter springboard, sophomore
Dima Tereshchenko and junior
Jamie Spilchak finished ninth and tenth, respectively. The Rebel duo was led by Tereshchenko's overall score of 515.45, while Spilchak tallied a combined prelims and finals score of (502.55)
UP NEXT: The diving-only meet concludes Sunday with the men's platform and women's 1-meter competitions. Prelims are set for 11 a.m., followed by finals at 12:25 p.m.
