UNLV women's golf freshman Thienna Huynh has been named to the American Junior Golf Association (AJGA) 2022 Rolex Junior All-America Team as an honorable mention, the organization announced Thursday. This is the second time Huynh has made the list.

Headlined by nearly 60 current freshmen or college commits, the Rolex Junior All-America Teams recognize the world's premier junior golfers. This year's class includes 48 young women and 48 young men, ages 14-19, who distinguished themselves through exceptional play in 145 national junior golf events, 128 of which were conducted by the AJGA. The teams were determined exclusively through the AJGA Rankings as of October 12.

Huynh, a native of Lilburn, Georgia, and the other honorees will be honored at the Rolex Junior All-America Awards Banquet on Saturday, Nov. 19. 'The Greatest Night in Junior Golf' will recognize the accomplishments and celebrate the achievements of the Junior All-America teams.

In her most recent junior competitions, Huynh tied for fourth at the Rolex Girls Junior Championship in June, while also tying for 17th at the 73rd U.S. Girls' Junior in July and 32nd at the Girls Junior PGA Championship in August. Additionally, she won the U.S. Women's Amateur Four-Ball Championship back in April.

During the fall season for the Rebels, she recorded three top-25 finishes in four tournaments, including a 13th-place finish at New Mexico's Dick McGuire Invite.
