LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV women's tennis player Cindy Hu has been named Mountain West Freshman of the Week for the second time in three weeks, the league announced Wednesday.
 
Hu, out of Guangzhou, China, went a combined 5-0 over the weekend to help the Rebels win all three of their dual matches to move to 6-0. She did not lose even a set in downing the No. 3 singles players from North Dakota, Montana and Dixie State, while she and Salsa Aher also combined as doubles partners at the second position in the lineup for two wins.
 
Hu leads the squad in singles victories with a 13-3 overall mark, including 6-0 in dual matches, along with a 4-0 doubles mark.
 
The undefeated Rebels next travel to Stanford for a match this Saturday.
