LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Three Rebels on the UNLV women's golf team finished play at South Dakota State's Jackrabbit Invitational at Boulder City Golf Club (par 72 6,343 yards) with the final round Tuesday morning in Boulder City.
Freshman
McKenzi Hall shot the lowest single round score of her young career - a 3-under 69 - to finish in a tie for 13th at 1-over 217. Hall was just one of four players out of 90 who carded a score under 70 on the final day. The Las Vegas native turned in a stellar tournament, which included four birdies and just one bogey over the final 18 holes. Sophomore
Gracie Olkowski shot a final round 74 to finish in a tie for 36th at 11-over, while junior
Aliyah Williams turned in a 76 Tuesday to finish in a tie for 45th at 15-over.
Middle Tennessee came out on top on the team side, taking the title at even after a final-round 5-under. Host South Dakota State came in second at 3-over followed by Missouri State in third at 7-over. Rutgers' Anna-Maria Diederichs was the wire-to-wire individual winner, grabbing medalist honors at 7-under 209, while three players tied for second at 3-under.
UP NEXT: The Rebels return to team competition this weekend as they head back to Tucson for the Mountain View Collegiate, co-hosted by Missouri and Kansas State, March 18-20.
