Rebels Open NCAA Postseason At Ann Arbor Regional Monday

UNLV will compete as the No. 9 seed in a 12-team field at University of Michigan Golf Course from Monday-Wednesday

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's golf team continues its 2025-26 campaign in the postseason at the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional from Monday-Wednesday at the University of Michigan Golf Course (Par 72, 6,319 yards).

One of six regional sites, Michigan's home course joins UNC Finley Golf Course (host: North Carolina), University of Louisville Golf Club (host: Louisville), Stanford Golf Course (host: Stanford), Seminole Legacy Golf Club (host: Florida State) and Ridgewood Country Club (host: Baylor) in hosting the 72-team field

THE LINEUP: Representing the Rebels will be junior Zi Yu Foong, sophomore Amber Chen, freshmen Lana Yamagata and Demi Du, as well as junior Jane Huang

THE FIELD: 1. USC (No. 2); 2. Duke (No. 10); 3. UCF (No. 14); 4. Oklahoma (No. 23); 5. Ohio State; 6. Northwestern; 7. Kansas; 8. Texas Tech; 9. UNLV; 10. Columbia; 11. Quinnipiac; 12. Oakland; Individuals:  1. Trinity Beth, Georgia; 2. Isabella McCauley, Minnesota; 3. Mariana Mesones, Minnesota; 4. Alexis Vakasioula, Grand Canyon; 5. Lauren Sung, Michigan; 6. Yanah Rolston, IU Indy.

FORMAT: The top five teams and the top individual not on those teams at the 54-hole tournament will advance to the NCAA Championship at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, California, being held May 22-27.

NOTES:
  • As a team, UNLV has posted five top-5 performances during the 2025-26 campaign and three consecutive top-5 finishes entering the NCAA postseason. That stretch includes its repeat as Mountain West Champions.
  • Additionally, the Scarlet & Gray has seen junior Zi Yu Foong (Colonel Wallenberg Ptarmigan Ram Classic) and sophomore Amber Chen (Jackrabbits Invitational) each clinch their first career individual victories on the year.
  • Foong and Chen both represented the Rebels on the Mountain West All-Conference First Team.
  • In her 15th year at the helm of the UNLV women's golf program, head coach Amy Bush-Herzer was named MW Coach of the Year for the second straight year and the fifth time in her career.
  • The Scarlet & Gray captured its ninth conference title and the sixth of Bush-Herzer's tenure.
