LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) — Jenny Bressler pitched a perfect game as UNLV run-ruled UNR 8-0 in five innings Saturday.Â
Bressler struck out eight of 15 batters faced and the Rebels' offense rocked the Wolf Pack for seven runs in the fourth inning.
April Visser hit a solo home run in the third to give UNLV the first score of the game. It was Visser's 10th home run this season, which shares the lead in the Mountain West Conference.
Samantha Diaz added a double in the fourth to lead a series of one-out RBIs hits the Rebels would collect. April Visser, Mia Trejo, Denise Armendariz and Alyssa Trejo each singled to drive in a run while Janyssa Martin slugged a line drive to the fence for a two-run double.Â
UNLV goes for the sweep of its in-state rival Sunday at noon.Â
