2020 (Junior) - Started every game at first base for the third straight year with 26 starts in 2020 during the 26-game season shortened by the Covid-19 Pandemic ... Named to the Mountain West All-Conference team for a third consecutive season ... Was third on the team with a .342 batting average (26-for-76) and second on the team with 21 RBI ... Added three home runs, 12 runs scored, five doubles and 15 walks ... Finished with an on-base percentage of .458 and a slugging percentage of .526 ... Was just getting hot when the season abruptly ended as she hit .438 (7-for-16) with five RBI, two doubles and a home run in a 5-0 weekend at Grand Canyon in the final weekend ... Best performance came in a 5-1 win over Saint Joseph's on March 7 when she went 4-for-4 with one run scored, one RBI and one double ... Also went 3-for-3 in an 8-0 six-inning win over UTEP on Feb. 29 ... Was stellar in the field again, helping the Rebels to a top-five fielding mark in the country again with 191 putouts, five assists and just one error.
2019 (Sophomore) - Turned in another stellar year for UNLV, starting every game at first base for the second straight season ... Earned a second career National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-West Region selection with a second team nod after receiving a third team nod her freshman year ... She was the first player to earn back-to-back all-region nods since Garie Blando in 2014 and 2015 and is just the 14th player in Rebel softball history to receive the award more than once ... Was named to the Mountain West All-Conference First Team for the second consecutive year ... Recorded career highs in home runs (8) and runs batted in (42), both team-bests in 2019 ... Her 42 RBI are also tied for 10th all time in a single season in program history ... Five of Trejo's eight home runs came against Mountain West competition, one each coming in the Rebel's first four series of conference play (vs. Boise State, at Utah State, at SDSU, vs. Fresno State), where she hit .500 with 18 RBI, two doubles, four home runs, 10 runs scored and 11 walks ... For the second consecutive year, Trejo hit over .300, registering a .315 batting average in 50 games played to go along with 26 runs scored, five doubles, two triples, a .545 slugging percentage and a .442 on-base percentage ... Led all Rebels with 11 multi-RBI games ... Was also patient at the plate, drawing a team-high 32 walks, which were tied for the most in the Mountain West this season ... Had another strong year in the field with a team-high 318 putouts, five assists and just two errors for a career-high .994 fielding percentage, helping the Rebels to a NCAA top-10 fielding percentage mark as a team ... Earned her first career Mountain West Player of the Week award on April 2, 2019 after hitting .400 with five RBI, a three-run home run, four runs scored and five walks in the program's first-ever three-game sweep over San Diego State.
2018 (Freshman) - Earned Mountain West All-Conference First Team honors as a freshman after making a significant impact during her first collegiate season ... Also named a NFCA All-West Region third team selection as part of UNLV's first all-region selections since 2015 ... Earned the starting spot as the everyday first baseman prior to the season and was impressive both in the field and at the plate ... Started all 53 games and led the team in batting average (.353), was second in hits (54) and doubles (10) and was third in RBI (28) and home runs (3) ... Came on particularly strong during conference play, with her .380 average a team best, to go along with 27 hits, seven doubles, one triple, one home run, 11 runs scored and 16 RBI ... In UNLV's big road series wins over eventual MW champion Boise State and the sweep over third-place Fresno State, Trejo recorded two game-winning hits to catapult the Rebels to the series victories, the first came in game two at Boise State with the Rebels trailing 1-0 in the top of the seventh, Trejo was down to her last strike when she connected on a two-out two-run single to put UNLV on top for good and secure the series ... With game one in Fresno tied 3-3 and Petmecky on third after a leadoff triple, Trejo delivered again with a single to score her from third and lift UNLV to the 4-3 win ... Defensively, the freshman made just five errors in 432 chances - the most chances of anyone on the team - for a fielding percentage of .988 that was second only to senior catcher

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at Tucson High Magnet School as a pitcher and third baseman ... Earned first team all-section honors as a freshman and sophomore ... As a junior in 2015-16, was a first team all-conference selection and named her Division's Player of the Year ... As a senior in 2016-17, was named both the player and pitcher of the year for her Division and was a firs team all-conference selection.
PERSONAL: Mia Nicole Trejo was born in Tucson, Arizona ... Majoring in Architecture and Interior Design ... Sister, Alyssa, was a joined the Rebels prior to the 2020 season.
