Rebels Host Spring Scrimmage Saturday

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV volleyball will host a spring scrimmage against Salt Lake Community College Saturday at the Cox Pavilion Practice Gym.

The Rebels will play two matches against the Bruin Bears, 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public.

The Scarlet & Gray will close out their spring tour April 23 with a home scrimmage against Northern Arizona.

The Rebels' spring roster features five returning letterwinners from last year's squad: three rising juniors (Jordyn Freeman, Gabrielle Arretche-Ramos and Arien Fafard) and two rising sophomores (Chloe Thomas and Isha Knight).

LOOKING BACK: The UNLV volleyball program is coming off a 28-win campaign in 2021, including the championship game of the 2021 National Invitational Volleyball Championship. The Scarlet & Gray closed out the year 28-9 overall and 12-6 (second) in the Mountain West.
