BOISE, Idaho (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's tennis team got a win at the top of the lineup but it was not enough in a 4-2 loss to Boise State on Sunday at the Appleton Tennis Center.
The Rebels fell to 11-11 overall and 0-2 in the Mountain West while the Broncos improved to 12-7 and 1-1.
The hosts easily won the top two doubles matches to earn a 1-0 lead.
In singles, UNLV got straight-set wins from No. 84
Christopher Bulus, 6-0, 7-5 over Pedro Liborio, and
Milos Dabic, 6-3, 6-4 over Caden Moortgat, but the Broncos got a trio of points to end things.
NEXT UP: The Rebels will host San Diego State on Friday starting with doubles play at 11 am. Admission to all matches is free of charge.
