FRESNO, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) — Fresno State used a two-run third inning to overtake UNLV and hold off the Rebels Friday night.
The Bulldogs (19-35 overall, 10-13 Mountain West) won game two of the three-game series in a 3-1 decision over UNLV (38-13, 16-7) at Margie Wright Diamond.

April Visser led off the game with a single and worked around the bases, scoring on an
Ariana Martinez single to right field, to give the Rebels the early advantage.
Kacey Hvitved found a gap in the right side for a two-RBI single in the bottom of the second that evened the score. Alesia Denby doubled in the fourth to drive in Keahilele Mattson and scored on Avery Lawley's hard hit to deep short.
