UNLV will be looking to win two of its first three games in a season for only the second time since 2009 and first time since 2018 ... Sponsored by the CFP Foundation, Extra Yard for Teachers Week will be celebrated during the game ... REBELS vs. MEAN GREEN NOTES...

The Rebels have won all three previous meetings staged in Las Vegas, including the most recent, 38-0, in 2000 ... UNLV will return this game by traveling to Denton on Sept. 12, 2026 ... This marks the second consecutive season UNLV will face a Conference USA  team from the state of Texas after it fell 24-17 at UTSA last October ... The Mean Green is the first Texas team to play in Las Vegas since UTEP and then Prairie View A&M appeared in back-to-back weeks in September 2018 ... The Rebels are 12-7 all-time vs. teams that currently make up C-USA ... Guyer HS in 2021 ... Bishop Gorman HS grad and former UNLV three-year letterman at safety Greg Francis played his final season of college football at UNT last year ...
