LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's soccer team ended its non-conference schedule with a 2-0 defeat to Cal Thursday night at Peter Johann Memorial Field.
The Rebels fall to 2-6, while the Golden Bears improve to 4-1-3 on the season.
For the contest, UNLV was able to muster five shots against a tough Cal defense that hasn't allowed a goal in three straight contests. The Golden Bears, however, controlled the tempo throughout and finished with the shot advantage behind 24 total targets.
