LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV men's and women's diving teams will dive into their weekend when they head to UCLA for the Bruin Diving Invitational Friday-Sunday, Jan. 13-15, at Spieker Aquatics Center.
 
Competition is set to begin each day with prelims 10:30 a.m. PT during the three-day event. Finals will start at 1 p.m. PT on Friday and Saturday, as well as 12:45 p.m. PT in Sunday's meet finale. The men's 1-meter and women's 3-meter events will take place Friday, followed by the men's 3-meter and women's platform on Saturday and men's platform and women's 1-meter springboards on Sunday.

Also competing at the meet alongside the Rebels will be divers representing host UCLA, USC, Stanford, Utah, Hawaii, Grand Canyon, Cal Baptist, TCU, UC Davis, Rutgers, San Diego State, UC San Diego, Wisconsin, Cal Poly, Denver, Fresno State, Claremont-Mudd-Scripps and Pepperdine.
 
SEASON LEADERS: Leading the Rebels on the women's side is junior Vika Yanovska, while junior Jamie Spilchak and sophomore Dima Tereshchenko lead the way for the men. Yanovska leads the Scarlet & Gray in the women's 1-meter (282.95), 3-meter (299.48) and platform (236.55). Tereshchenko has a team-best score in the men's 1-meter (340.58) and 3-meter (322.95), while Splichak's platform score (293.95) is a team high.
