LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's soccer team fell to San Diego State, 2-0, Thursday night at Peter Johann Memorial Field.
The Rebels (6-5-5, 2-3-2) fought to the end with six of their nine shots against the Aztecs (11-2-2, 6-0-1) coming in the second half, but their comeback attempt was turned away.
Out of their nine targets, the Scarlet & Gray had three shots on goal for the contest. Those included graduate student
Jules Dominguez's, sophomore
Savannah Nichols' and freshman
Trinity Buchanan's one shot on target apiece.
UP NEXT: The Rebels will host New Mexico at noon on Sunday as part of another doubleheader with UNLV men's soccer.
