LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - UNLV football senior kicker Jose Pizano has been named the Raising Cane's Outstanding Rebel of the Week, the school announced Thursday.

The award goes to the student-athlete who turned in the best individual performance during the previous week of competition from Monday through Sunday as voted on by the UNLV Athletics Strategic Communications department.

A Lehi, Utah native, Pizano set school records with six field goals and 19 points, including the game-winning kick to defeat Colorado State, 25-23. His field goals tied the Mountain West single-game record and broke former Rebel Daniel Gutierrez's previous mark of five makes.
