LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's and women's swimming teams will compete in Austin, Texas, at the Texas Invitational from Wednesday-Saturday, Nov. 15-18, at the Lee and Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center.

Each day's events begin with the prelims at 8 a.m. PT, followed by the finals at 4 p.m. PT. 

The Rebels will square off in a pool of teams that consists of several nationally ranked programs. Among those are the host Longhorns' No. 2 women and No. 7 men, USC's No. 7 women and No. 16 men, Stanford's No. 8 men and No. 10 women, as well as Wisconsin's No. 12 women and No. 22 men.

REBELS IN THE NATIONAL POLLS: UNLV men's swimming and diving appeared among the teams receiving votes in the 2023 Preseason College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Division I Top-25 poll released on Oct. 12. Out of 32 teams that received votes, the Rebel men's squad ranks 29th on that list with eight points.

UNLV INDIVIDUALS AMONG THE NATION'S BEST: The Rebels have several individual marks that rank among the top-25 fastest on the NCAA top-times chart this season. Headlining those are Beji at 10th in the 100 breast (52.98) and 200 breast (1:56.05), junior Bryson Huey at 13th in the 50 free (19.60), senior Blanka Bokros at 20th in the 200 fly (1:57.09) along with senior George Ratiu at 16th in the 100 free (43.21).

REBEL RELAYS ON NCAA TOP-TIMES LISTS: Along with their individual national rankings, the Rebels have three relay times that sit among or near the NCAA top-25 marks on the year. Among those are the UNLV men's 400 medley relay (3:09.43) team in ninth, men's 200 free relay (1:19.54) quartet in 16th and women's 400 medley relay (3:41.89) squad in 26th.
