LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - Three different players scored in double-figures as the UNLV women's basketball team overpowered New Hampshire, 93-30, on Saturday afternoon at Cox Pavilion in the first-ever meeting between the two programs.

The Lady Rebels (4-0) were led by
Kiara Jackson who put up a season-high 18 points, shooting 7-for-8 from the field and 4-for-5 from behind the arc.
Desi-Rae Young collected 17 points, led the squad in rebounds with eight and had three steals on the day.
Nneka Obiazor added 10 points by shooting 4-for-6 inside the arc and was a perfect 2-for-2 from long range.

New Hampshire (2-3) was led by Bella Stuart's eight points.Â

STAT OF THE GAME: UNLV recorded 13 steals as a team and forced New Hampshire into 25 turnovers, which the Lady Rebels capitalized on and scored 34 points.

CONTROLLED FROM THE START: The Lady Rebels came out firing and went on an 8-2 run in the first quarter and closed out the first ten minutes of play with a 10-point lead, 21-11 and were up 49-15 heading into the break. UNLV did not let their foot off the gas and put up 44 points in the next two quarters to close out the game.

DEFENSIVE EFFORT: UNLV held New Hampshire to a 26.4 shooting percentage for the entire game and only allowed 30 points for the contest, including only four in the second quarter.

- The Lady Rebels out-rebounded the Wildcats 31-29.

Macy Spencer and
McKinna Brackens each tallied season/career-high nine points. Both Brackens and Spencer were 3-for-4 from the field. Spencer also shot 3-for-4 from the three-point line, and Brackens was a perfect 3-for-3 on free throws.

Erica Collins brought down a career-high four rebounds.
- UNLV shot 58.1% from the field.
- The Lady Rebels' bench outscored the Wildcats' bench 42-20.
- UNLV dished 20 assists and were led by
Ashley Scoggin and
Macie James who both had four assists each.

NEXT UP: The Lady Rebels will travel to San Diego, California, to compete at The Dana at Mission Beach Holiday Classic hosted by the San Diego Toreros on Friday, Nov. 24 and Saturday, Nov. 25. UNLV will play UC Santa Barbara on Friday at 4 p.m. PT and then face either Weber State or host San Diego on Saturday at either 2 p.m. PT or 4 p.m. PT
