LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV men's swimming sophomore Adnan Beji has been named the WAC Men's Swimmer of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced Wednesday.

Beji, a native of Tunis, Tunisia, helped guide the Rebels to a sweep of their home quad meet with wins over UC Santa Barbara, Hawaii and Wyoming over the weekend. The Scarlet & Gray's standout breaststroke specialist went unbeaten in his individual events, sweeping the 100 breast (52.47) and 200 breast (1:56.90). His 100 breast time of 52.47 seconds at the meet ranks 31st in the nation this year, while he maintains his spot atop the 2022-23 WAC leaderboard and moves into second on UNLV's all-time top times list.
