LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV volleyball will play in four scrimmages this spring, starting with a trip to St. George, Utah on Friday, March 24, for a tournament featuring Utah Tech, Utah State Eastern University and Salt Lake Community College.
The Rebels will start off the tournament with a match against SLCC at 11 a.m. (PT), followed by a scrimmage against USUE set for 12:30 p.m. (PT) and concluding with a match against Utah Tech at 2 p.m. (PT).
The Scarlet & Gray will return home for the next two matches, beginning Saturday, April 8 at 9:30 a.m. against the Arizona Wildcats in the Cox Downstairs Practice Gym, followed by a scrimmage against the College of Southern Nevada set for Friday, April 14 at 1 p.m. also in the Cox Downstairs Practice Gym. The Rebels will close out their spring tour April 22 with a contest against NAU in Flagstaff, Arizona set for 10 a.m.
The Rebels' spring roster features nine returning letterwinners from last year's squad: four rising seniors (Isabel Martin, Jordyn Freeman, Gabrielle Arretche-Ramos and Arien Fafard) and five rising juniors (Dakota Quinlan, Chloe Thomas, Alyssa Muraoka, Livvy Setla and Isha Knight).
LOOKING BACK: The UNLV volleyball program is coming off a 26-win campaign in 2022, including being crowned the Mountain West Regular-Season Champions and a trip to the first round of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
