LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's swimming 200 free relay team received its official bid to the 2023 NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships, which will be hosted by Minnesota at Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center from March 22-25. This is the second straight year the Rebels punched their ticket to the national meet in a relay event after their 400 free relay squad competed at last year's championships.

At the WAC Championships, the Scarlet & Gray quartet of sophomore Bryson Huey (19.41), junior George Ratiu (19.24), senior Steven Butler (19.17) and super senior Reece Hemmens (18.80) earned an automatic qualifying spot with a conference record time of 1:16.62. Their mark ranks 17th out of the 23 teams that claimed a spot on the big stage in the 200 free relay.
