Lester Named To Senior Bowl Watch List

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – New UNLV running back Donavyn Lester was named to the 11th Annual Reese's Senior Bowl Watch List, which was released by organizers Wednesday.

A graduate of John Paul II High School in Plano, Texas, Lester joined the Rebels this season after four standout campaigns at William & Mary that included scoring 17 total touchdowns. He was named Second Team All-Colonial Athletic Association last season after averaging 7.0 yards per carry. He is one of just six players from the Mountain West on this year's official watch list.

The Reese's Senior Bowl is widely regarded as the preeminent college football all-star game and the first stage in the NFL Draft process. The longest continual-running all-star game has taken place in Mobile, Alabama, the past 74 years. More than 900 NFL personnel, including key decision-makers from all 32 teams, and over 1100 media members from around the country were credentialed this year. This past April, the game produced 100 total picks for the third straight year, representing 40 percent of the entire NFL draft, including 40 selected on the first two days.

The Rebels kick off their 2023 season at home on Sept. 2 against Bryant University. Season tickets for UNLV's six-game home schedule, priced starting at just $150, are available now by visiting unlvtickets.com or calling (702) 739-FANS (3267). For information on VIP premium club seats or suites at Allegiant Stadium, contact the Rebel Athletic Fund's Premium Sales Division at premiumseating@unlv.edu or by calling (702) 895-1237.
