BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV women's soccer team scored three unanswered goals in the second half en route to a 3-1 come-from-behind win over CSU Bakersfield at CSUB Soccer Field.
With the victory over the Roadrunners (1-5-1), the Rebels (4-2-2) complete a 2-0 sweep of their weekend road matches.
Trailing 1-0 to CSUB at halftime, the Rebels' surge was sparked by sophomore
Mallie Ramirez's brace in the first five minutes after the break and freshman
Trinity Buchanan provided insurance with the third score in the 59th minute. Ramirez netted back-to-back scores inside the box in the 48th and 49th minute off assists by graduate student
Marley Salveter and freshman
Cassie Villanueva, while Buchanan struck from the top-center of the 18.

Lucia Guemes helped the Scarlet & Gray backline go unblemished in the final 45 minutes. She made three saves and earned her second win of the year.

- The Rebels move to a perfect 3-0 in road contests this season, marking the first time they have begun the season unbeaten through their first three away matches since 2005.
- Ramirez is the third UNLV player to record a brace this season, joining freshmen Cassie Villanueva and Trinity Buchanan.
- Villanueva's performance marked the second time a Rebel freshman finished with a brace this season.
- In UNLV's first road game at Weber State, Trinity Buchanan tallied the first two-score game of the year by both a Scarlet & Gray rookie and any Rebel player.
- Additionally, the Rebels extended their unbeaten streak to four matches, tying their longest such stretch from the 2022 campaign.
