COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV saw its five players see action during Thursday's first round of the 2023 ITA Mountain Region Men's Championships being held at the U.S. Air Force Academy outdoor courts.
 
Dusan Rsovac rallied to win his match, 2-6, 7-5, 7-5, over Montana State's Andras Necz in the Round of 64 and will now face Air Force's 14th-seeded Arjun Kersten on Friday morning. A trio of other Rebels will look to advance in consolation play after dropping their opening outings.
 
In doubles, Rsovac teamed with Ti Hirano for an 8-6 victory over Bruno Krenn and Dylan Applegate of Utah before falling in the Round of 16 later in the day.
 
More than 8,000 student-athletes from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, Junior and Community Colleges compete across 85 ITA Regional Championships around the country. In Division I, regional doubles champions and regional singles champions and finalists qualify for the season-ending ITA National Fall Championships.
