WESTWOOD, Calif. (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV men's and women's diving scored three top-10 finishes on Saturday's second day of the Bruin Diving Invitational, which is being hosted by No. 25 UCLA at Spieker Aquatics Center.
THE RUNDOWN – WOMEN:
*In the 3-meter event, senior
Vika Yanovska improved upon her prelims score (267.25) in the final round (272.60) en route to 10th place with a combined 539.85.
THE RUNDOWN – MEN:
*Scoring the team-best mark on the day, junior
Dima Tereshchenko's combined 576.55 on platform gave him an eighth-place finish. He moved one spot up from his ninth-place score during prelims (278.15) after posting a season-best mark of 298.40 in the event's finals.
*Senior
Jamie Spilchak joined his Rebel counterparts on the leaderboards, finishing 10th on platform with a combined prelims (263.35) & finals (264.65) score of 528.
