LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – Host UNLV has one doubles team remaining after a full day of action Friday at the 2024 ITA Mountain Region Men's Championships on campus at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
 
The pairing of Illia Maksymchuk and Roberto Hernandez upset sixth-seeded Reid Jarvis and Berk Bugarikj of Utah, 8-6, to advance to the Round of 16.
 
In main draw singles, Dusan Rsovac won his first match of the day in three sets vs. Boise State's Dylan Jaen, 4-6, 6-3, 6-3, before falling in the Round of 32.
 
Representatives from 16 schools in the region are on hand for the event, which runs through Tuesday.
  
Each of the 2024 ITA Men's and Women's Division I Regional Championships will see two singles finalists (26) qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship. Meanwhile, the doubles champion from each region (13) will qualify for the NCAA Doubles Championship.
