FORT COLLINS, Colo. (UNLVrebels.com) – The UNLV volleyball team continued their Mountain-West schedule with a trip to Colorado State on Thursday night, facing off against the Rams in a Halloween special in Moby Arena.
Colorado State (13-8, 9-2 MW) took down the Rebels (10-12, 3-8) on a 3-0 final score, the final line being 25-21, 25-11, 25-22. UNLV posted a .133 hitting percentage compared to the Rams' .395 rate, the Rebels hitting as high as .243 in the third and final set.
Jada Ingram notched a career-high on the night, securing eight kills to lead the Rebel offense against CSU. Three other members of the lineup found five or more kills on the night, including
Gabrielle Arretche-Ramos (seven),
Basia Latos (seven) and
Jordyn Freeman (five). The sixth-year middle blocker posted the highest hitting efficiency of the lineup (minimum two attacks), earning her five kills on 12 total attacks.
Arien Fafard led the Scarlet & Gray's hitters with 18 set assists,
Olivia Mikkelsen splitting the work with eight of her own on Thursday.
Kody Wengler rounded out the top-three set assist totals with a new career-high in the match, notching three.
UNLV found six block assists on the defensive side,
Dakota Quinlan putting up a pair. Four other Rebels found a block assist each, including Ingram, Arretche-Ramos, Freeman and
Chloe Thomas. Arretche-Ramos topped the dig totals with some backline work on the night, picking up five in the match with Mikkelsen and Latos holding four each.

The Rebels will take the road to Wyoming before finishing out the weekend, rematching the Cowgirls at Laramie, Wyo. The two programs will face off on Saturday, Nov. 2, the first serve taking place at 11 a.m. PT. Fans can also follow along on the team's social media accounts:
