Hey 19: Surging Rebels Move Up Two Spots In Both Polls

AP ranking

LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) –
After reaching the 10-win mark for the first time in 40 years, UNLV football moved up two spots in both the AP and Coaches polls released Sunday.

The Rebels are now a school-record-high No. 19 on both lists after completing the regular season at 10-2 and 6-1 in the Mountain West with a 38-14 victory last night over UNR in the annual Battle for the Fremont Cannon at Allegiant Stadium.

On Tuesday, head coach Barry Odom's squad will find out its standing in the College Football Playoff Committee Rankings after moving up to No. 22 last week.

The Rebels will next head to Idaho for Friday's 2024 Old Trapper Mountain West Football Championship vs. No. 10/10 Boise State in a rematch of last season's game. The championship kicks off at 5 p.m. PT and will be televised by FOX. Tickets, which start at $45 before fees, are available by visiting unlvtickets.com.
