LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV men's and women's swimming and diving teams will host their annual UNLV Finis Invitational this week from Monday-Wednesday, Dec. 16-18, at Jim Reitz Pool.
The meet starts each day with swimming prelims at 9:30 a.m. PT, followed by swimming finals at 5 p.m. PT. For diving events, prelims will begin at 1 p.m. PT, followed by the diving finals at 7:30 p.m. PT on Monday and Tuesday.
Seven teams are slated to compete against the Rebels, including UCLA's No. 24 women's squad, Wyoming, Cal Baptist, Colorado Mesa, Cal Poly, Linfield and UOP.

WAC LEADERS: The Rebel men have six WAC-leading times this season, headlined by senior Daniel Nicusan in the 100 breast (52.11), 200 breast (1:53.65) and 200 IM (1:45.12). Other conference-best times include sophomore Tatsuki Inoue in the 200 back (1:43.89) and junior Ian Belflower in the 200 fly (1:44.71). Additionally, the 200 medley relay squad of sophomore Wikus Potgieter, senior Adnan Beji, redshirt freshman Emil Perez and Nicusan posted a time of 1:25.61, which ranks atop of the conference in the event.
MOUNTAIN WEST LEADERS: The Scarlet & Gray women currently hold two of the Mountain West's fastest times with sophomore Ava Olson in the 1000 free (9:57.57) and the 800 free relay team of Olson, freshman Grace Wharton, junior Erika Carlson and senior Bridget Sullivan recording a conference-best time of 7:13.05.
DIVING SEASON LEADERS: Leading the Rebels on the women's side is senior Vika Yanovska, while sophomore Alex Vazquez and senior Dima Tereshchenko lead the way for the men. Yanovska leads the Scarlet & Gray on the women's 1-meter springboard (318.00), 3-meter springboard (339.50) and on platform (257.65). Vazquez has team-best scores in the men's 1-meter (372.75) and in the 3-meter (453.95), while Tereshchenko has a team-best score on platform (355.65).
ADMISSION: The cost to attend the meet is $10 per session or $30 for an all-session pass.
