LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The No. 24 UNLV women's basketball completed a comeback for the second straight game and defeated Boise State 63-57 on Wednesday evening at Cox Pavilion.

The Lady Rebels (25-2, 15-1 MW) were led by
Desi-Rae Young with 13 points. Young also had two steals and two blocked shots on the night.
Nneka Obiazor was second on the squad with a solid nine points off the bench by shooting 4-for-6 from the field and 1-for-2 at the free throw line.
Alyssa Brown led the squad with seven rebounds and
Ashley Scoggin had a season-high three steals.

The Broncos (19-10, 10-6 MW) had two players in double-figures with Tatum Thompson leading the way with 14 points and Mya Hansen added 12 points.

FOURTH QUARTER COMEBACK: The Lady Rebels headed into the final frame down by a three-pointer, 46-49. The Broncos hit the first basket of the fourth quarter to extend the lead to five. Young put up a layup to try and close the gap, but Boise State hit two free throws to still hold a five-point lead, 53-48. The Lady Rebels then went on a 10-point scoring run which included four points from
Kiara Jackson to take a 58-53 lead with 2:50 remaining. The Broncos got back within three after a basket by Tatum Thompson,
Amarachi Kimpson threw up a fade away jumper to get the Lady Rebels' lead back at five, 60-55. Boise State's Thompson again got them within three, but a Kimpson layup and free throw sank to secure the win for the Lady Rebels.

STAT OF THE GAME: UNLV and Boise State were tied six times and exchanged the lead six times throughout the game.

- UNLV had its best scoring run of the game (10 points) in the fourth quarter, which ultimately the game-winning scoring run.
- The Lady Rebels shot 43.3% (26 of 60) from the field for the game and shot 77.8% (7 of 9) from the free throw line.
- Boise State shot 42.9 (24 of 56) from the field for the game and shot 44.4 (4 of 9) from the free throw line.
- This is the first game the Lady Rebels have been out-rebounded in a victory.
- UNLV forced 15 Boise State turnovers.
- The Lady Rebels dished 13 assists and Kiara Jackson led the squad with six.
