The Lady Rebels (26-2, 16-1 MW) had six players in double-figures and were led by
Desi-Rae Young with 21 points. Young shot 9-for-10 from the field, 1-for-1 behind the arc and was a perfect 2-for-2 at the free throw line. Young also added seven rebounds, had a season-high five assists and tied her career high in steals with four.
Ashley Scoggin drained 17 points by shooting 6-for-10 from the field and sank a season-high five three-pointers (5-for-7).
The Aztecs (18-12, 9-8 MW) were led by Adryana Quezada who had 14 points by shooting 5-for-9 from the field.

CONTROLLED FROM THE START: After San Diego State made the first bucket of the game, UNLV went on to score 19 straight points and took control and never looked back. In the fourth quarter with under 30 seconds left to play, the Lady Rebels increased their advantage to 59.

DEFENSIVE EFFORT: The Lady Rebels held the Aztecs to just seven points (3-for-13 field goals and 1-for-3 three-pointers) in the first quarter, only allowed 10 (4-for-15 field goals and 0-for-2 three-pointers) in the second quarter and gave up only eight (3-for-13 field goals and 1-for-8 three-pointers) in the fourth quarter.

OTHER NOTES:
- The Lady Rebels tied the single-game made three-pointers record that they set on Nov. 14 against Utah Tech by making 16 three-pointers tonight.
- This was the second time this season UNLV has scored 100 or more points against MW foes and the third time this season the Lady Rebels have scored 100 or more.
- UNLV dished a season-high 26 assists and were led by Alyssa Durazo-Frescas with a career-high six assists. Amarachi Kimpson had five assists, which tied her career high.
- Durazo-Frescas, Nneka Obiazor and Kimpson each added 12 points, while Kiara Jackson collected 11 points and led the Lady Rebels in rebounds with nine.
- Macy Spencer brought down a career-high two rebounds to go with seven points on the day.
- The Lady Rebels out-rebounded the Aztecs 44-19.
- UNLV had 34 points in the paint compared to San Diego State's 12.
- The Lady Rebels bench continued to come up big and scored 33 of the 100 points.
