Box Score LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) - The UNLV softball team dropped game two against UNR 13-0 in five innings on Saturday afternoon at Eller Media Stadium. This game is part of the Silver State Series, presented by America First Credit Union.
 
The Rebels (25-13, 8-4 MW) and Wolf Pack (33-10, 11-4 MW) were scoreless for the first inning, but UNR took a 3-0 lead in the top of the second inning and stayed in control for the rest of the game. UNLV's offense was held to one hit - a fourth-inning single from Ariana Martinez - in five innings, marking a season low, while it was just the third time this season the Rebels were held scoreless.
 
THE TURNING POINT: Both squads were scoreless after the first inning until UNR scored three runs on two hits. The Wolf Pack tallied two more runs for the next three innings played to end the game early.
