Sluka (6-3, 215) is a New York native who comes to Las Vegas after a storied career behind center at Holy Cross in Massachusetts. The All-American graduated as the Crusaders' career leader in pass efficiency, and ranking second in career rushing yards with 3,582 and touchdowns on the ground with 38. His 5,916 yards passing ranks fifth in Holy Cross history as does his total of 59 passing scores. The 2023 Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year twice was a finalist for the coveted Walter Payton Award, which goes to the nation's top player on the FCS level. His senior campaign included setting the NCAA Division I record for rushing yards in a game by a quarterback when he finished with 330 on the ground against Lafayette, surpassing the 327 posted by Arizona's Khalil Tate vs. Colorado in 2017.
Ware (6-2, 195) is a veteran coverage man who originally signed with Missouri of the SEC under Odom out of high school in Florida and spent the past two years at UCF. He has appeared in 40 career games for the Tigers and Knights and looks to earn a seventh season of eligibility this fall after not playing in 2023. He has 92 career total tackles and took his first career interception back for a 59-yard touchdown at Florida in 2020.
Bradley (6-4, 190) is a North Carolina native who signed with Pittsburgh of the ACC out of high school and spent last season at Charlotte. He is reunited in Las Vegas with UNLV second-year offensive coordinator
Brennan Marion, who coached the Panther receivers in 2021. Bradley played 18 games in two seasons at Pitt, including catching two touchdowns in one game vs. Georgia Tech.
Hessler (6-4, 300) is a California native who transfers in from Santa Barbara City College after earning all-conference honors as sophomore. In 20 career games for the Vaqueros, he compiled 55 total tackles, nine quarterback sacks and 16.5 tackles-for-loss.
Scalise (6-6, 310) is a California native and former junior college product who spent last year at UTEP but did not appear in a game for the Miners. Previously, he started at tackle for two seasons at Sierra College, helping the Wolverine offense average more than 30 points per game during both campaigns.
DeCambra (6-0, 185) is a Hawai'i native who moved to Las Vegas and starred at national powerhouse program Bishop Gorman High School. Rated a four-star recruit as a senior for the Gaels in 2022, he was ranked a top 250 player in the nation by ESPN. DeCambra signed with Oregon and redshirted last fall for the Pac-12 Conference school before choosing to return to his adopted hometown with four years of eligibility remaining.
The Rebels will kick off their 57th season of football August 31 by heading to face Big 12 Conference member Houston in the first of a school-record 11 games to be shown by national television networks.
