LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – UNLV football fans are in for a treat when the Rebels take on Syracuse at Allegiant Stadium on Friday October 4 at 6 p.m. The popular Happy Hour on the Torch Terrace will return, a free event hosted this year by UNLV football alumnus and sports media personality Kenny Mayne.
 
From 4:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m., fans (21+) at the Torch Bar can purchase half-price domestic drafts while enjoying a spectacular view of the Las Vegas Strip through the iconic Allegiant Stadium lanai doors. Additionally, those in attendance will have the chance to meet not only former Rebel quarterback Mayne but also UNLV alum and Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Champion Miki Sudo during the Happy Hour event. Both Mayne and Sudo will be available for autographs and photos, giving fans the unique opportunity to connect with two iconic members of the Rebel family before kickoff of the much-anticipated, first-ever football meeting between UNLV and Syracuse.

The excitement continues after Happy Hour with the inaugural UNLV Football Pink Donut Eating Contest in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Miki Sudo will headline the halftime competition where contestants will go head-to-head in a thrilling race to see who can consume the most pink donuts. The competition will be hosted by Kenny Mayne, whose signature commentary is sure to entertain during the action.
