Julia Salem and
Purity Williams both netted their first career goals as the Rebels played San Diego State to a 2-2 draw Thursday night at Peter Johann Memorial Field.
Hitting from above the 18 on each goal, Salem opened the scoring in the 34th minute and Williams found the net in the 41st minute to give the Rebels (3-7-4, 1-1-3 MW) a point for the third time in four contests. The Aztecs (5-2-5, 1-0-3 MW) found a pair of unanswered goals in the 44th and 76th minutes.
UP NEXT: The Rebels remain home for a Sunday tilt vs. Grand Canyon with kickoff set for noon.
